11 Months Old Today

What it means:

1. I no longer have a good excuse for my clothes being too tight.
2. I no longer have an excuse for my lack of mopping, dusting, and making dinners.
3. I get to plan a first birthday party - in the summer! What a relief this is after a November baby and a January baby.
4. I am going to have to stop calling you a baby. You are looking and acting so much like a little girl.
5. I still have to practice saying, "my kids", not "my boys"
6. You are playing peek-a-boo, clapping, waving bye-bye, and use sign language when you want to nurse.
7. You are totally joking around with me and being a clown.
8. You have words (that maybe just your mom, dad, brothers, and grandmama can really decipher... but words none-the-less) for dog, your brother's names, daddy, mama, nurse, bye-bye, kitty Tiger
9. You sometimes prefer to be held by your daddy.
10. You are super social, smiling at people, yet you do this cute little shy thing where you cling to me when you meet new people, hiding your head against my chest.
11. I'll stop at number 11, but the list could go on. 11 months of you being in this world, means ... one more month before I get to write a ONE year birthday post and probably cry my eyes out.
